Materials and design—built to work, not to show off We chose carbon fiber for the filament because it has low thermal mass. It heats almost instantly and handles thermal shock better than many metal elements. And the quartz tube isn’t just a shell—it creates a stable thermal environment that protects the filament and keeps performance consistent. We also add an IR-reflective coating on the tube to push energy forward, so you get more usable output and less wasted heat. For install, it uses an R7s connector—standard, double-ended. That means it drops right into many industrial fixtures. Wire it up, clamp it in, and align it without hunting down custom brackets.
